.
My Grandad~ Here is a beautiful part of his legacy...
.
.
All the "kids"... Gary, Mom, Vicki, Mike & Cynthia
.
Easter egg hunts in the forest... driving up the mountain to that big house on a white wonderland where big spruces welcomed us up like soldiers ready to play... hearing all the men playing pool down in the basement where all things wonderful were kept like a huge train set and newspaper clippings like the man landing on the moon and stuff like that... his laugh... amazingly enough, Grandad was one of the first to arrive after I "saw" Santa drop off a load under my tree~ Uncle Mike, I don't think I knew it was you until I was about 10!... playing dolls with him~ I think he was having as much fun as I was... racing up to Aunt Cynthia's because Grandad just shot a deer and they were about to gut it~ my first biology class!... During one of the hardest times in my life he called me at least once a week; I will always hear him telling me he loves me and will always wish I told him just once more~ I love you... Carpe Diem

MADE FOR ME

Remember the post~ Sister Love? This is my gift made just for me... homemade laundry soap by my sweet friend Maia!! ~This powder smells lemony and fresh and looks like candy... I love the way it smiles at me on my shelf in my laundry room... it makes me dream of an adorable room with old white metal basins, glass bottles full of all sorts of stain potions with little brushes dangling from cute little hooks~ I think in a room like that the laundry fairy would HAVE to visit and keep me caught up, right? Maybe I'll paint it pink... it may be the only "girly" room in the house!
.
Five Good Things
  1. Coffee in my daisy cup Christopher gave me
  2. Cooper's coos
  3. Days with Family
  4. Hair dye~ no more gray!

PEACHES PEACHES

.
.
Peach ice cream, peach cobbler, peach peach and more peaches!
.
It was HOT and the ice cream was so cold... we all just wanted to dive in our bowls... The Peach Festival for those of you who don't live here is something to look forward to... lots of good friends you'll see, lots of yummo food and most of all the peaches!
.
It was a good day once we actually got out there! We talked to all the bikers, watched the men carving wood pieces in the old bank, drank LOTS of gatorade and water, took LOTS of pictures, ran into a few friends and looked at all the stuff to buy... the hats were their choice! Coop LOVED the ice cream and ate more of it than all 3 of us...

CLEATS

.
"Where is my other cleat Mama"? I heard an hour before we needed to leave...
My son had gathered all his "stuff" for the game and couldn't wait to prepare.
.
.
Nate & I went & got M&Ms... Ems played on the bleachers with the smallest flip flops I have ever seen... Aunt Heidi was on Coop duty while Nana and I were taking pics... Chris got there before it even started... the announcer introduced all the players~ they called "Christopher Lee #20" and he had to take the batting helmet off~ he was ready to go!
